1. Competition Name
PeezJob Sign Up & Win Competition (“the Competition”).
2. Promoter
The promoter of this Competition is PeezJob (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.
3. Application of the Consumer Protection Act
This promotional competition is conducted in accordance with Section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and the applicable regulations.
Participation in this Competition is free of charge.
No purchase or payment is required to enter.
Standard data costs may apply when accessing the website or downloading the app.
4. Eligibility
The Competition is open to individuals who:
- Are 18 years or older at the time of entry
- Reside in the Republic of South Africa
- Have a valid ID document or passport
- Successfully complete the entry requirements
The following persons may not enter:
- Employees, directors, members, agents, contractors, or consultants of the Promoter
- Immediate family members of the above
- Any person directly involved in the administration of the Competition
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the eligibility criteria.
5. Competition Period
The Competition will run from:
25 February 2026 at 00:00
to
30 April 2026 at 23:59
Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Competition period if required by circumstances beyond its control. Any such change will be communicated publicly and will not unfairly prejudice participants who have already entered.
6. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Sign up by submitting their information via
https://peezjob.com/sign-up during the Competition Period; and - Download and register on the PeezJob mobile application as soon as the app becomes available mid-2026.
Only completed registrations will qualify as valid entries.
The Promoter reserves the right to limit entries to one per verified mobile number, email address, and/or ID number to prevent abuse or fraudulent participation.
The Promoter may disqualify bulk, automated, fraudulent, or duplicate entries.
7. The Prize
The prize is:
R5 000 (Five Thousand Rand) cash
The Prize:
- Is not transferable
- Cannot be exchanged for another prize
- Will not be substituted for cash of a different amount
8. Winner Selection
The winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries.
The draw will take place mid-2026.
The draw will be conducted using a verifiable random selection process. The Promoter may appoint an independent auditor, attorney, or accounting professional to oversee the draw process to ensure fairness and compliance.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided during registration.
If the winner:
- Cannot be contacted after three (3) attempts; or
- Fails to respond within 72 hours of notification
the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
10. Verification and Payment
Before receiving the Prize, the winner may be required to provide:
- A valid ID document or passport
- Proof of banking details
- Any additional information reasonably required for verification
The Prize will be paid within 7–14 business days after successful verification.
11. Tax
Any tax liability arising from receipt of the Prize shall be the responsibility of the winner.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
By entering the Competition, participants consent to the processing of their personal information in accordance with:
- The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
- The Promoter’s Privacy Policy
Personal information will be used for:
- Competition administration
- Verification of the winner
- Prize fulfilment
- Marketing communication (participants may opt out at any time)
The winner’s name and surname may be published as required by law. Any additional publicity or promotional activity will only occur with the winner’s consent.
13. Publicity
The winner may be requested to participate in reasonable promotional activity.
Participation in publicity is voluntary. Refusal will not affect the winner’s right to receive the Prize.
14. Record Keeping
The Promoter will retain all Competition records as required by the Consumer Protection Act for a minimum period of three (3) years.
Such records may include:
- Total number of entries
- Draw methodology
- Winner details
- Prize payment confirmation
15. General
The Promoter reserves the right to:
- Cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control
- Disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or acts unlawfully or fraudulently
Participation in this Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance of the Prize.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights granted under the Consumer Protection Act.
